Groundworks (10/26/12)

Emerge Fine Art is pleased to announce an exhibition by North Carolina artist Bob Rankin. Internationally recognized, Rankin is known for his contemporary and colorful expressionistic paintings and as a founder of Artsplosure. This new body of work, Groundworks, is based on experimenting with ground up pigments, volcanic ash and other mixed mediums to create layered abstracts. Earth tones discovered in digging deep holes for planting trees in NC and VA were chosen as primary colors for this new direction.

The Light and the Mystery (9/28/12)

Emerge Fine Art held an exhibition by artist Ulysses Jackson on Friday, September 28, 2012.

To inspire his work, Ulysses is a passionate researcher with a range of interest and specializations bridging the arts and sciences. In his most recent body of work called “The Light and the Mystery” he is making images that hopefully allow the viewer to notice new details about their daily environments.

Unfortunately we did not get any pictures during this event, but below is a look at the show.
